??Candida and/or Gluten Free Diet Support Groups??
« on: November 19, 2012, 02:41:37 PM »
Hello:

My friend is in need of support while she cuts out flour and generally is going crazy while working and detoxing due to candida overgrowth.  I would appreciate links to online support forums and/or leads on local, in-person drop in (or other) support groups that may exist in the Bay Area.  If they do, they are difficult to find which is why I am posting here.

My further guess is that this is an idea worth investigating if you are looking to work with candida clients.  It is a hard road.  1:1 counseling is good, naturally, but peer support and a buddy system can do wonders to help sufferers get over the hump, as well.

Thanks for any light you can shed on this, including a professional handout that is written for colleagues and family regarding how to work with and be in support of a co-worker &/or loved one who is struggling to overcome candida infestation.
