Farm Fresh Salad

Farm Fresh Garden Salad

Farm Fresh Garden Salad is a tangy treat from the earth the is terrific for those who want natural tasting foods.

Salad                     Dressing

5 leaves butter leaf lattice julienned         1 tablespoon olive oil
5 leaves arugula julienned            1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
5 leaves romaine julienned                        5 kalanat olives juiced
1/2 cup almonds roughly chopped                    1/4 teaspoon salt
1 green apple small dice               1/4 tablespoon pepper
1/2 cup kalanat olives chopped            1/2 juiced lemon
1 tablespoon oregano minced
1/2 tablespoon basil minced

1.Take butter lettuce, arugula, romaine, apple, olives,oregno,and basil place into a medium mixing bowl.  Heat a small cast iron pan to high heat on stove and place almonds on. Cook for about 45 seconds or until they reach a golden brown. When they have reached golden brown remove immediately from the stove and place in the mixing bowl with other ingredients.

2. Add olive oil and balsamic vinegar to a small mixing bowl and whisk until combined. Than add juiced olives, juiced lemon, salt and pepper and whisk again for out 20 seconds. Tastes to adjust with salt, pepper and lemons. Pour dressing into salad mixing bowl than toss.  Transfer salad into a serving bowl than serve immediately.
Yield 6 servings.
