Vital Scoop Recipes
« on: March 10, 2015, 12:43:07 PM »
Hello, I am brand new to the forum and just began my long distance learning program to become a nutrition consultant.  I am interested in trying the Vital Scoop product but wasn't sure where I would purchase it. Any great recipes would be great also.  Thank you! Debbie

Welcome Debbie! You're going to enjoy your education.

I found the cheapest place to purchase Vital Scoop is from this site. They also have free shipping:
https://www.pureformulas.com/search?Ntt=vital+scoop

I just purchased my second 4 lb package.

Hi Melanie,

Can you give us the shipping costs for each.

I'd rather buy them direct from the college, but that site I mentioned has free shipping on all 3 sizes, no matter how much you spend.

Thanks,
MaryAnn

Hi again Debbie,

Here is more info on the Vital Scoop that you might want to know before you purchase:

Check out this post:
http://www.baumancollege.org/forum/index.php/topic,14122.msg36332.html#msg36332

It is made with whey protein isolates and not whey protein concentrate. See #5 in this article on the differences:

Hi MaryAnn,
I appreciate you wanting to purchase Vital Scoop directly from Bauman College.

It looks like that site is exclusively online and all their orders are shipped.  Therefore they receive a better rate with their shipping company then we do.  Bauman College does not ship high volumes so we can't match their rates.

We know this, so we only charge our customer what UPS or USPS charges us.  We add a small $5 handling fee to cover the time it costs to process the order and to cover the materials we purchase to ship the order.

I can't give you shipping rates because it's base on the weight and size of your order and where you live.
The next time you are ready to purchase more Vital Scoop, you can contact Terese at 707-795-1284 x400.
She can give you an estimate of how much it would cost to ship your order.

That's a bargain if I've ever heard one. I'd like to support the school directly as well, but a deal is a deal. Pretty stoked to try the scoop out. Seems like a real winner.

I just found the Vital Scoop on Natural Partners for an even bigger deal. Only $75 for the 4 lb tub.

I joined Natural Partners as a student. You should join in you haven't yet.

Sounds interesting. Do people have great feedback about Vital Scoop?
I need to research this.  I am new to Bauman and going to be distance learning.
