There is still plenty of space available to exhibit yourself as a holistic health practitioner at the Wellness Village at the Montclair Jazz and Wine Festival on Sunday, September 16th. The application deadline has been extended to this Friday, August 17, 2007.

Applications received by 5pm Friday, August 17th will be advertised in the Program. (Applications will also be accepted after August 17th, but these late applications will not be advertised in the Program.)

DETAILS:

This is the 5th year of the Festival in beautiful Montclair Village and it is expected to attract over 7000 people from Montclair as well as visitors from throughout the Bay Area.  This festival is one of the fastest growing cultural events in the East Bay!  Montclair and neighboring Piedmont are sought after demographics as they have the financial means to support holistic health services.  The streets of Montclair will be turned into a pedestrian zone from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, 2007.  The Wellness Village has probably the best location of all the groups (Artisan Lane, Jazz Stage, Wine Tasting Village, Kid’s Village, Gourmet Food area, and the Wellness Village), which is on Mountain Blvd. across from the Safeway.  We are in the thick of things!!  More information about this event is available at:

Application Process: The Montclair Village Association is handling all the details of Exhibitors who want to apply.  First Come, First Served would apply here, so get your application in ASAP.  The application can easily be downloaded at:  http://www.montclairjazzandwine.org/PDF/2007_Wellness_Village_App.pdf

All Oakland based exhibitors must provide a copy of their business tax license with their application. If you plan on selling products you must display a copy of your California reseller’s permit. Show packets will be sent out approximately two weeks prior to the event and will contain space assignments, directions to the event, show set up instructions, etc.  Anyone not accepted will be notified within three weeks of receipt of their application and their check returned/refund.
 
The logistics of the space to rent and associated fees are the following:
 
One 10’x 10’ space $175.00

Provided by Montclair Village Association for extra fees:

Canopy (tent over the booth):  $135.00 includes rental and setup (Or can bring your own at no cost. Canopies can also be purchased at Target for $65.)

Tables: $ 20.00 (or bring their own)

Chairs: $ 5.00 each (or bring their own)

What is included in the $175.00 fee:
 
Company name on Festival website with link to their website (if applicable)

Day of Program that lists all the exhibitors including their contact info (if application received by Friday, August 17th!)

General Ad in the Montclair newspaper advertising the Festival (if application received by Friday, August 17th!)

Exposure to 7000 potential clients!

Support the day of the event by an on-site manager

Potential for Health Lectures, Cooking Demonstrations, etc.
