Looking for Safe Schisandra Berry Tea Recipe

I've been reading a lot about the benefits of using Schisandra Berry to address stress and adrenal fatigue. For the past month or so I've been making a simple decoction of 2 Tbs whole freeze dried berries to 2 cups water (simmered on low for 1 hour). This usually makes two servings. The effect is mildly sedative, which I'm assuming is from the melatonin. I worry that it might be too strong though. I've found several different recipes online with conflicting amounts and cook times.

Before I get too far into my 100 Days of Schisandra, I thought I'd check the community to see if anyone has any reliable and safe recipes to share.

Note: I'd prefer to drink the tea, rather than take supplements.

I usually simmer schizandra covered at low heat 20 minutes. Longer makes it stronger.
