Looking into natural ways to encourage the return of my menstrual cycle, 20 months after giving birth to my son. I am not sure if I am ovulating, as I have not tracked it yet, though my gynecologist believes I am not, as we are still breastfeeding. Has anyone had any success initiating ovulation (and ultimately, fertility) through the use of adaptogen herbs?

Nursing with less than 6 hours "rest" tend to suppress ovulation. See if  you can elongate the time between feedings, up your vitamin A and zinc food sources, plus get some acupuncture.   This usually works in a few months.
