This article is shocking. l I was riding my bike with a friend yesterday who works with horses and telling her about this article and she said that she was familiar as the horse community is seeing this in grasses, that horses are suffering more often these days from metabolic syndrome because of the increased glucose in grass! They are discussing supplementing feed with protein sources.
