Kids and healthy eating
« on: October 02, 2017, 08:25:21 PM »
Being a health-conscious mom to 2 school age kids, I am constantly struggling to keep them on a healthy track. So when I saw an older thread that had this article about kids and how to help their attention (spoiler alert, it's mostly about the food) I was intrigued: http://healthykidshappykids.com/2016/09/29/top-10-tips-to-boost-your-childs-attention-naturally/
It reminded me of some of my favorite resources (as a parent) for helping kids to consume a nutritious diet: From the author of my favorite parenting book 'Simplicity Parenting' https://www.simplicityparenting.com/category/nourishing-food/
This one is worth a read for helping all ages! https://www.theguardian.com/books/2016/jan/29/first-bite-how-we-learn-to-eat-bee-wilson-review
'Disease Proof Your Child' has wonderful info http://blog.peertrainer.com/tip_of_the_day/2009/01/how-do-i-feed-my-kids.html
I would love to hear if anyone has any other favorite resources.
