Delicious Lentil Hummus

I can"t get enough of Hummus and I make it at least once a week (more if I have people over for dinner). Having made so many of these in my life, I have experimented a bit with ingredients.

I share with you my favourite recipe which will bring your hummus to the next level :)

100gr of brown lentils
1 tbsp of almond butter
2 tbsp of Tamari (soy sauce)
1 garlic clove
6 sundried tomatoes
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp lemon juice
Water as needed

- Soak the lentils overnight and let the lentils germinate. Rinse well in the morning and in the evening.
- Steam lentils for 15 min.
- In a blender, mix 100 ml of water and all the ingredients except from the lentils.
- Add lentils and mix again.
- Add water if needed.

This preparation can also be done with coral or green lentils, chickpeas... If you don't  have time to soak and germinate the lentils, you can always use canned lentils but I recommend trying with germinated lentils as they bring so much more flavour !

Enjoy and let me know what you think !!

This sounds delicious!  Definitely have to try it.  Maybe I'll add it to my Thanksgiving menu.  :)

Thanks for sharing!!
