Getting electrolytes through food

Hi all,

I tend to be someone that is 'always thirsty'. I drink a lot of water, at LEAST 70 oz a day, yet never fully feel like I'm properly hydrated. In the past, I've had to take a sodium chloride tablet to help retain hydration, but I wasn't a fan. I realize I am probably flushing the minimal electrolytes that I do have through my system by drinking so much water, so I am wondering:

How can one increase electrolytes through food?

I have done some basic searching on what foods are naturally higher in electrolytes, but I am looking for some more guidance- perhaps what foods to eat, when, how much, ratio of this to water intake, etc. Any bit of detail helps!
