Tips for Eating Less?

I love food! Which I'm sure you can all relate to. But my biggest struggle is that I eat too much food. I eat healthy and exercise so I am not overweight, but I am confident, especially after doing a lot of research, that the short and long term effects of consuming too much food can be damaging to my body. I would love suggestions from anyone who learned to eat less or have learned to portion their food in a very balanced way. This has been a lifelong problem that I have improved on, but I still find myself overconsuming calories in my average meal. Thanks for any tips!
