Glutin-Free and Diabetes (Blood Sugar) Cookbooks

Can anyone refer me to a good gluten-free cookbook and/or a good cookbook sensitive to blood sugar issues? I have looked over the book shelves in the run-of-the-mill bookstore and found that so many of them are full of the latest hype. Also find that some are helpful in one aspect, but scary in others. For example, I see plenty of gluten-free cookbooks that are full of sugary recipes, and diabetic cookbooks that are full of Splenda/Nutrisweet recipes! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Vera.

Hi Vera,
I have a book you might be interested in. It's called. Diabetic Meals in 30 Minutes-or
less! By. Robyn Webb. American Diabetes Association. There are a few meals you
may need to alter to make it gluten free too. Hope this helps

The Publication "Living Without" (
http://www.livingwithout.com/welcome.htm
) has a lot of gluten free recipes. It may have some good recipes for diabetics as well- I am not sure about that one.
