Do you as a student have access to the BC natural chef workbook? If so there is a wonderful raw ranch dressing in the salads and dressings section. Hope this helps!

Check out this recipe for Dairy-Free Ranch Dressing: http://www.nourishingmeals.com/2009/07/dairy-free-ranch-dressing-recipe.html

I haven't made it yet, but it's on my list of things to try. Let me know if you try it out!

I did check the one out in the Natural Chef recipe book but it is a raw recipe... I was looking for something quick and easy for parents to make at home for their kids... Any ideas??

you could replace some of the may with a thick greek yogurt...creamy and has that zip that lends it self nicely to the herbs and spices in a mayo...

Hi there - here is the one I make.

2 cups greek yoghurt (whole milk plain yogurt will also do)
1 tsp. dijon mustard
2 tsp. chopped fresh chives
1 tsp. garlic
sea salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. lemon juice/cider vinegar

Mix and serve with salad.  All the quantities are approximate, so you can play around with the ingredients based on your preference.
