Julie Matthews, a Bauman College NC grad, sends the following:
Subject: Nutrition Education and Cooking Demonstration for Autism/ADD
Sat., March 17th, 10am-4pm in San Francisco
Dear Friends,
I'd like to encourage clients/friends and fellow practitioners to attend my class on healing foods for children with Autism/ADD.
Science is now validating that diet modification is having great affect on these kids. I've been studying this and working with families and children for the past five years. Traditional Healing Foods are a natural way to help bring vital restorative nutrients to the body, and preparing them can be easy, educational, and fun.
I'm excited to be demonstrating recipes and techniques that I'll be teaching/presenting at the Autism One national conference in Chicago this June. I'm also presenting at the Defeat Autism Now! conference in Washington, D.C., speaking on nutrition intervention for autism (and the healing benefits of traditional foods).
I hope to see you (or a friend!) at this class or a future cooking class, as I aim to further empower clients' health objectives with cooking skills that support their nutrition intervention strategies.
See you soon!
