Kelp Maple Crunch

In learning about the many benefits of sea vegetables in class and readings, I sought out a tasty recipe to incorporate them into my diet.  This is so quick and easy, and a great alternative to expensive bars. 

Kelp Maple Crunch

1/2 oz sea vegetable fronds
2 c. nuts or seeds
1/2 c. Grade B maple syrup
Grind sea veggies in blender, add nuts and grind together.
In bowl, incorporate syrup fully.
Spread 1/4" thick on parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
Bake 20 minutes at 325.
Cut when still warm, allow to cool, Enjoy!

This recipe is adaptable to whatever nuts or seeds you may have on hand.  I've been experimenting with the recipe, adding fruits and reducing the syrup, to very positive response!  :)
