"Three Cheers for Asparagus"
4/5/11: 5:30-6:30pm
Chef Trudy Schafer
Bauman College, Alta Bates Summit and Whole Foods Market hosted an hour-long cooking demonstration featuring asparagus, the springtime treasure! Bauman College Instructor, Chef Trudy Schafer, shared three easy and delicious asparagus dishes with the audience: “Asparagus Cream Spread,” “Fresh Asparagus Soup,” and “Raw Asparagus Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette.” Handouts of the recipes can be found below. Natural Chef Trudy Schafer runs a personal chef business, The Healing Hearth, that brings a holistic healing approach to the kitchen using organic whole foods.
