Kale Smoothie

 ;)  Mornings are often busy for families during the week.  And, when talking with clients about creating one change in their diet following the E4H model, try this smoothie.   How can any family not want to try this tasty, easy smoothie?  Remember, buy local, seasonal, organic with all ingredients
Kale and Pear Smoothie
Variable to High using a VitaMix or other blender
1 1/2 minutes    Yield 4 cups (960 ml)

1 cup green grapes
1 (130 g) orange, peeled
1/2 Bartlett pear
1 (120 g) banana, fresh or frozen
1 cup kale
1/2 cup filtered water
2 cups ice cubes
Place all ingredients into container and secure the lid. Select VARIABLE speed (<B#1< #10), then to HIGH for 1 minutes. Turn machine off. Serve immediately.
Health Classification: Low Fat, Low Sodium, Low Cholesterol, Heart Healthy, Gluten-Free, Vegetarian, Vegan, Raw
