Bringing Farm Fresh Foods to Schools... Part 2
« on: June 23, 2008, 08:01:49 PM »
More geared toward the Bay Area, The Chez Panisse Foundation is too branching out to bring great food and education to the classroom through programs like The Edible Schoolyard and The School Lunch Initiative.

Check out: for more information!

In 1996, Alice Waters, pioneering cook, restaurateur and food activist, created the Chez Panisse Foundation in commemoration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of her restaurant, Chez Panisse, in Berkeley, California. The Foundation supports an educational program that uses food to nurture, educate and empower youth.

Help to support these organizations that help our children's futures through great nutrition education so they can create a sustainable world around us!

Thank you and have a beautiful day!
