As Spring approaches, we are inundated with fresh foods, and often cannot keep up. Explore these tips and see if your food stays fresher and your meals stay healthier.

Make a large batch of soup. Freeze the excess in muffin molds. When you want soup again, simply pop out a couple pucks and reheat. Also, the frozen puck is a great long-lasting snack for your dogs!

Store onions in pantyhose. Tie a knot between onions and hang from the ceiling of your pantry. You can then clip between knots as you need an onion. By surrounding the onion with air, it will stay fresh up to 8 months.

Store delicate herbs like flowers, by covering with plastic, securing with a rubber band, and refrigerating. A great way to keep basil, parsley, cilantro, and chives fresh!
