Come and join Bauman College for a lesson on a delightful gluten-free and dairy-free dessert with local berries on Wednesday, June 26th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time / 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. We’ll show you how to make a Summer Fruit Pavlova with Coconut Custard and Honeyed Berries.  

Holistic Chef Instructor Martina Russial loves making desserts that feature seasonal ingredients, and what better time to feature berries than in the peak of summer!

This dessert allows you to eat for pleasure while also considering healthful ingredients. Local honey is packed with probiotics and prebiotics that can aid in digestion. Sun ripened berries contain fiber and antioxidants. Coconut milk and eggs contain healthy fats, vitamins and antioxidants. What is better than a dessert that is good for you?

Chef Martina will walk you through preparing your fruit, tempering egg yolks to make a custard, and what to look for in your meringue.
