Come and learn about the magical world of fermentation with Bauman College during this complimentary one-hour online cooking demonstration on Wednesday, May 29th at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time / 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time and make some vibrant Ginger Beet Sauerkraut.

Holistic Chef Instructor Melissa Shaffer loves sharing her passion for fermentation and empowering others to try fermenting for themselves. In this session, you’ll learn how to prepare a vibrantly colored sauerkraut with just a few simple ingredients and learn the top tips for successful ferments.

Humans have a long history of fermenting foods to preserve seasonal crops, improve gut health and digestion, and develop delicious and unique flavors.

You’ll also have the opportunity to hear from our Admissions and Financial Aid team about our Holistic Chef Program’s curriculum, upcoming classes, career opportunities, and tuition and financial aid.
